If you use most of the simpler utilities (like Permissions Reset) to reset ACL lists for an entire users home folder, you need to be logged into that users account, because these utilities will change the owner of that home folder to the currently logged-in user, and remove the former owner from that home folders ACL list, and from all enclosed files and folders if you select that option. The other app Permissions Reset worked in the past and stopped working now. Its unfortunate MacOS doesnt include a user friendly tool with the system.
