The way it works with ShareFile is slightly different. It has an option to add in views into many Cloud storage systems (such as GoogleDocs and Box) but not ShareFile. However, having Bought (£13.99) and played with QuickOffice, the way it works needs a little understanding. If, like me, you use ShareFile (to access documents from your various devices, you will be interested to know that QuickOffice on the iPad provides support for ShareFile. UPDATE: Citrix has bought FourSquare and is planning to include full editi facilities straight from ShareFile! Personally, I wouldn't leave home without one (Asus WL-330NUL.not the lipstick!!!!) It also doubles as a portable Wifi Router for the moment that you want to use the cable to broadcast wifi to your multiple tablets and smartphones you have about your person!Īll for less than £20! AND no bigger than a large USB stick (or for you ladies out there, a modest sized lipstick!) Its a USB Ethernet adaptor for that moment when you want to plug your laptop into a cable. (£19.99 at Currys at writing this article). You stare at it and eventually convince yourself to pay the £12.99 for the 12 hours of poor wifi connectivity! You get your laptop or tablet out and you go to connect to the wifi.and you find there isn't one.or there is one but its chargable, unlike that ethernet cable that is staring at you!īUT.your device doesn't have that hole to push the cable into and all is lost. So.its been a while since I wrote anything.but I recently got inspired to share! Downside is the both handles move at the same time. Result: lifting the handle from either side now works perfectly. (you could pick up a cheap handle with spindle for about £5 from a hardware store) Solution: I took a spare spindle from an inside door handle and replaced the split one with a single one. However, in my situation that meant one side of the locking mechanism was broken and the other one still OK. The only benefit I can see is that the door handle on the other side doesn’t move at the same time.so lifting or dropping one handle leaves the other one stationary. This means the locking mechanism works independently on the outer and inner handle. Taking my handles off I realised that I had split ones. Lifting handle on the outside works but not the inside.įurther investigation took me to a reply to this gentleman which talked about the difference between ‘split and single shafts connecting the door handle. This meant I couldn’t lock out door properly from the inside!Ī long google later and I found one person with the same problem. Some brut forced freed it but after that lifting the handle didn’t ‘shoot the bolts’.
Problem: Lifting the handle on the inside of our front door (to shoot the bolts out) and the handle stuck in the upright position. ’s been a while since I last posted and this is a bit of a shift away from my historical posting, but having solved a problem cheaply, I wanted to share.
